Hello everyone I just wanted to report a problem that I am having with the vtiger component v1.0.2. When I choose the component from the component menu I get a 404 error. At this point I cant see and help documentation or any info to know how to configure the component or the forms.

Hello Branham,
Thank you for employing our software.
To see our multimedia documentation please go to http://www.openwebapplications.com/joomla_vtiger/player.html.
The 404 error indicates that a file is missing. You need to verify how the component has been installed. The best way to install is by using the standard component installation procedure from joomla (package installation).

Cheers,
Open WebApps Support Team

Thanks
Component was installed with standard joomla installer.
I have verified that both the components/com_joomlavtiger and administrator/components/com_joomlavtiger directories exist. Both have 0755 access from the apache user. I have tried removing and reinstalling the component and get the same result.

Thanks to the keen work of the support department we figured out the problem. Seems the error was actually an error 303. The error code didnt display in IE8.

We soon located the problem and found it to be a error on my webserver. The error can be resolved by turning off GZip compression in joomla. Something in my server is not configured to handle GZip properly.

Thanks again openwebapps for a great product and can't wait to see the comercial product when it is released.
